About

The Friends of Camp Hollis was formed in 1999 as a support system for the Oswego County owned facility. In its early years, Friends of Camp Hollis (FOCH) concentrated on providing small projects and programs to enhance the camp and its grounds (landscaping, tree planting). In 2002, with Oswego County facing major budget constraints, FOCH began contributing money toward the camp's operating budget. Since then, FOCH has become a major factor in the camp's financial stability, especially by providing full and partial camper scholarships for families in need. It now leads the effort to keep the original intentions of the camp intact and assure its growth in the future.
